Oregon Jewish Museum
and Center for Holocaust Education

Sheepscot augments communication, development and marketing capacity for the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education.

Our engagement with OJMCHE began in early 2025 in the midst of a leadership transition in the organization’s internal communication team and the beginning stages of a strategic planning process. We were brought on to support with limited email, website, social media communication and PR around specific programs, exhibitions and events.

Over the months that followed, we have had the opportunity to bring our full gamut of creative services to the museum and our work together has resulted in remarkable, measurable results. Increased engagement online, increase attendance at events, notable media hits and enhanced internal capacities.

SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT AND GROWTH

In the first year of our work together, OJMCHE saw increased reach and engagement across both of their primary social media platforms since Sheepscot came on board. One of the organization’s strategic goals is to engage millennial and younger gen-X Jewish audiences in their programs, so an intentional focus is placed on Instagram.

ELEVATING THE ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE WITH PR

Through strategic media outreach Sheepscot has assisted the museum in securing key press coverage to increase awareness of exhibitions, programs, and to contribute to the museum’s strategic goal to elevate its organizational profile.
