Keep It Short to Grab Attention

Unlike traditional Safe Routes to School communications, Portland Bureau of Transportation aimed to launch a campaign targeting speeding and distracted drivers rather than students and parents. Rather than shaming drivers for bad behavior, PBOT wanted to connect audiences around their shared values and common desire for community health. Sheepscot distilled the campaign down to a simple, catchy tagline — School routes are everywhere. Drive like it.

Distilling Complex Information

From wastewater treatment to energy management and employment resources, Sheepscot works with clients across multiple industries and sectors to distill complex information into consumable narratives. The Oregon Employment Department came to us with more than 20 pages of complex information about its registered apprenticeship program. We distilled that content down to three short video scripts making the information easily consumable for all employment seekers.
