CELEBRATION IN ILLUSTRATION

Sheepscot produced a campaign for the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) to mark the 50th anniversary of Senate Bill 100, out of which DLCD was born.

Taking inspiration from vintage WPA-style National Parks posters, our illustrations depict familiar Oregon scenes in an approachable, painterly style. Each is accompanied by a caption that describes the scene through the lens of land use planning.

LOGOS WORTH 1,000 WORDS

After the Josephine County Educational Fund changed its name to The Redwood Foundation for Education, we set out together to create a new logo. The foundation serves educational partners, so we moved away from traditional depictions of redwood trees associated with the environment. That would give the wrong impression.

Our final design evokes the inspiration of staring up into the canopy of a forest, standing among giants. Sturdy, lasting and aspirational — very much in line with this deeply-rooted, 60-year-old pillar of Grants Pass.
